YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Nicole Gailey, senior director of R&D and Innovation PMO at Trivium Packaging, and Ryan Cene, president of On Us, discuss their continued collaboration with the annual Panerathon.
For three consecutive years, Trivium has designed and produced a commemorative aluminum water bottle for Panerathon participants. Gailey said the 2025 design incorporates thermochromatic ink and inclusive imagery reflecting this year’s theme, “Stronger Together.”
On Us first approached Trivium with the idea of filling its bottles, and Cene said the relationship grew from there. He emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and sees participation in the Panerathon as a way to support both a meaningful cause and the region’s character.
Both Gailey and Cene underscored the emotional impact of the event, noting the personal stories shared by survivors and families. They said the collaboration between local companies and the broader community remains central to the Panerathon’s mission.
